Seoul Mediacity Biennale “good life”

                                                   
      Seoul Mediacity Biennale 2018 with the theme of "good life" be held in Seoul Museum of Art.Celebrating its 10th anniversary this year.The Biennale will become a platform for the citizens to share the meaning of "good life",and its possibilities with a collective formed by professionals of various fields and 68 participants/teams invited from 16 countries.

      I am very happy to went and visited these art works.Because "good life" is a theme worth pondering and i am interested in it.Today, material civilization is flourishing, we need to think about what is a "good "form for living.The exhibition's art works are from the different cultures, we saw the various forms of art works, included pictures, videos,sounds,performance etc.although i didn't understand many of these art works deeply,but can feel that artists want show their concerns for social.

     This exhibition has three floors ,divided into several exhibition areas.I am intersted in KiHyunJung's art  works a little bit.Its named "laboratory-anomaly point+4c" It like an ecosystem.Biological natural growth.This something like earth shaped with wool and hair,represents an imaginary of a future in which human beings cannot contral the speed of ongoing industrialization.Resulting in the disappearance of the earth's continents, while rotating in the air, this project images of the wind blowing through a forest and of the air showing the present-day environment.examines"something unknown"occurring beyond natural phenomena and ultimately aims to find away to pursue a way to a beautiful life through self-improvement.I just saw a way of "good life" that  artist want to show us, he like nature and plant.This work inspiration for me that the real world we living don't need to much rich material, we just need a good living environment.
   

Here is another art works named "Post Snowden Nails".That was interested me.This art work made by Aram Bartholl."Post Snowden Nails" is a set of five micro SD cards contains a different set of one hand .Each card contains a different set of data, which can be accessed with the help of a SD-card-USD adapter.Each data fingernail can be plugged directly into a computer USB port in some cases  an extension cable might be useful.Technology is developing constantly science,human,enviroment are increasingly close ties.How can be make life better using science and technology.
     This exhibition shows many of possibilities to us, and learn much from this art exhibition.I think it is good for me about creating productions and reading art works.
